Who’s it for?
This course is aimed at those providing First Aid treatment in higher risk and / or larger organisations such as warehousing, construction, hotels, restaurants, leisure, schools, engineering, electronics, manufacturing.
You must a hold a current First Aid at Work certificate issued by a HSE approved provider within one month of its expiry date in order to qualify for this course
Module 1 - Emergency First Aid at Work
- legal framework / record keeping
- managing an emergency
- use of equipment / first aid box
- managing an unconscious casualty and / or in seizure
- choking – adult, baby and child
- personal hygiene procedures
- managing a bleeding casualty
- multi choice assessment
Module 2 - Recognition and management of illness and injury in the workplace
- shock
- injury to bone, muscle or joint
- head injury
- burns / scalds
- eye injury
- poisonous substances, gases and fumes
- minor illnesses
- major illnesses
- multi choice assessment
£850 + vat for up to 6 delegates
£950 + vat for up to 12 delegates
Onsite course charge includes a Qualsafe manual and certificate for each delegate.
No refunds will be given for delegates not attending on the day without prior notice.
