Who is the course for ?
The course is aimed at people with leadership responsibilities – Senior Managers, Directors, Heads of Departments/Head Teachers, Executives, Board Members, Business Owners, Chief Executives and Trustees
The format is a 5 hour face to face classroom session, supported by pre-course content and an end of course assessment that participants access via an app
Course aim:
To develop a strategic understanding of the value of safety and health and the importance of leadership, and to be able to apply this within your own organisations. It is intended to be interactive and based around facilitated discussion, exercises, case studies and self-evaluation
Course syllabus is as follows:
- Understanding good practice from leading global organisations
- Understanding where you want to position your organisation’s safety and performance against other organisations
- Plan for implementation
- Understand your operational responsibilities and the opportunities of good performance, as well as the consequences of poor performance
- Successful safety leadership; the qualities and role of an effective leader
- A leader’s role and different approaches to take towards Occupational safety and health
- Effectively managing Occupational safety and health
On-site course charges:
£700 for up to 12 delegates plus £50 per delegate for registration/certificate fees plus VAT
